It'd be really helpful if there was a Recycle Bin branch for each school where pages that were deleted were copied to.
Oh, it's all about restoration, to my way of thinking. If I'm looking for a deleted page it's probably because it shouldn't have been deleted and I need to put it back. Or I might just want to copy an element or layout group from a page I deleted.
I reckon that a recycle bin branch could get rather full after awhile, so that's something that would need to be considered. And, obviously, you wouldn't get to retain its place in the site structure. And then you'd have to be aware of recycle bin pages when looking at where a Resource is used.
Dang. It's more complicated than I thought! Still, having access to pages that have been deleted would be pretty cool.
This is certainly an interesting idea, would having a report of the deleted pages be as helpful or would you rather actually see the deleted pages in order to restore them?
Just wondering about use case and workflow so we can think about the best way to do things.
